Going beyond visualizing your goal
Something hit me the other day. I realized why visualizing your goal doesn’t always work like it should.
A picture is not enough. You have to LIVE the feeling it gives you.
So if you want good days, you have to enjoy this one. This very one that you are in right now! No matter how it started or what came before. Okay, if it was really and truly a shocker, you may not make it wonderful but you will surely improve it. And if you do it with all your heart, tomorrow’s going to be great!
But only by making this moment the best it can be.
So say your goal is financial abundance, and you’re imagining having lots of money. You imagine how that feels. How does it feel to be awash in money? Imagine the relief, and the pleasure. Imagine the freedom, and the joy. Feel it in your heart and in your bones. Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and let those feelings flood over you.
Now here’s the trick: you don’t wait till you get the money before you feel that again.
You feel that feeling now and all the time. And you walk around with that feeling, the joy, the relief, the pleasure, the freedom. And being in that state most of the time draws the reality to you.
And you don’t do it once a day for ten minutes either. You do it every time you think of it. And you think of it often. Many times during the day. With practice, you can make it an almost permanent state.
The more you can stay in that state of mind, the more powerfully you attract the reality to you.
Bonus!
And the bonus is, you feel better about every minute in between! Your days feel better before they are better – and then they are better too!
Really successful and happy people create their reality moment by moment.
They do it by feeling as if what they want is already here.
And this can be done no matter what’s going on around you.
So take a look at what your goals are and check whether your language and your thoughts are keeping them at a distance.
Look out for sneaky words like:
“I’m going to be rich”. That keeps it at a distance. Better: “I’m rich now” (and you are too – take a look at all the ways!)
“I’m not going to get fight with XX”. You’re thinking about fighting so that’s what’s going to happen. Better: imagine his or her smiling face. So happy it gives you a warm feeling. That helps you find your own liking for that person somewhere inside. Then, when you say to yourself “We get along so well!” you really believe it. That’s living the picture, and that makes it happen.
“I’m going to lose 10kgs”. 10kgs, 10kgs, 10kgs – are you really going to let them go when you’re calling them up all the time? Better: look at a picture of yourself when you looked just right. Often. Look at other people who look like that too. Feel that good. And live in that feeling. Delay clothes shopping till the sizes reflect that truth. But don’t skimp on other things that make you feel good.
A tip: meditation really helps you do this. So does quiet time each day. Both are to be found in Kaizen Wealth because they really work to accelerate the changes you want.
Feel it and live it this week, and always!

Wealth Insight 2009-08-07 When instinct seems to fail Last week I gave you an example of when instinct saves the day. How people who stay connected to their inner voice of truth so often get it right. But sometimes split-second decision-making goes wrong. How can that be? Example 2: Let’s look at the next example. The movie Crash is a very thoughtful movie, building on Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing. The point is to show that racism is complex. It makes people who do not think of... Read more...

I want to take this opportunity in thanking you for your efforts in making it easy (simple) for us in taking responsibility for our success/future by creating mediums eg the Kaizen Challenge.   In my specific case, I want to go back in the past and not only focus on the Kaizen Challenge. As is the case with a lot of other students, I met you some time ago and since then subscribed to all your seminars, training courses, DVD’s, E-books, software, programmes, fire-walking... Read more...

It’s a strange feeling being different. You are aware of how you used to be but also how you are now....This is how I feel after the challenge. I know how I used to react to things & how I used to feel about them, but I know choose to feel & act differently. My day starts at 05:30. take a shower & get dressed. I then pray with my wife & leave for work. When I get to the office, I close my door & meditate. For 30 min I shut the world out & spend time... Read more...
