Mastering The Art Of Being Positive

If you want to achieve your goals and live a happy life, surround yourself with positive people. People who have a positive attitude will extend their energy on to you and will help you achieve the life of your dreams.

So how do you go around finding positive people? Very often, they are around you and you may not have noticed. They are the people who make you feel that all is good with the world. People like your family and friends who are always around to support and encourage; in good times and bad.

Here are a few ways in which you too can become a positive person:

Use Positive Communication

Everyone has bad days, but if all you ever do is complain and whine, then no one will want to be around you. No one likes to be around someone who is complaining all of the time. You may have heard of the famous saying, “When you cry, you cry alone but when you smile, the whole world smiles with you.”

If someone asks you how you are, you should not answer back with a negative comment. Respond to that comment with one of optimism. You know that the question was asked out of courtesy and you should reply in the same vein. Unless the person who is doing the asking can actually do something to help you, it makes no sense to unburden all your woes upon that person.

Use Positive Thought

Have goals and objectives and work towards those goals one step at a time using positive thought. Even when you are disappointed, you should look at each hurdle as just another stepping stone towards getting to your goal. The more positive you are towards life and goals, the more you will find others who also have goals and are also positively moving towards them.

Very often people start off on a negative note and expect that things will not work. When you get started on that note, it is very difficult to put in the energy that is required to make it work. Instead if you are positive you will work doubly hard to make sure your endeavor is successful.

Everyone has energy and the choice of how they want to use it. If you want to draw more positive people to you, you need to be optimistic and happy, even when life is a little bit of a downer. Positive people try to look at the best side of things, even when life is difficult. For them its all about finding a solution to the problem unlike negative people who will always find a problem in every solution.

Use Positive Action

Actions speak louder than words and more than smiles. While it is great to have a smiley face, it can only take you this far and no further. You have to act positively in order to carry out your positive thoughts.

Suppose you were set to get some recognition and someone else got the merit that you thought you deserved - what do you do? Stop complaining and whining. Instead, strive to achieve your aim next time. Remember that it only seems that nobody has noticed your hard work. Chances are, people will notice and you will get the recognition one day.

Actively Seek Positive People

Reach out to others who you know at work, friends, and acquaintances that exemplify positivism. How do you identify a positive person? You can tell from the way they are very confident and encouraging without being arrogant. They will always be courteous to everybody and will always have a smile on their face. You will never see them putting down another person not will they nag and complain.

Positive people are always surrounded by friends and you can expect to be the same if you have a positive attitude too.

Can Negative People Affect You?

At all costs, avoid being with negative people. They sap your energy with constant complaints and tirades. You don’t need that. You need friends who make you feel good about yourself and not those people who are constantly criticizing you or finding something negative to say.

Indeed this a life challenging article. We need to constantly develop the I CAN DO IT mentality in our mind frame and plane of thoughts. Being and staying positive is a choice.

Positive attitude, Positive thoughts and Positive declarations are a key to a fulfilled and successful life. A negative attitude on the other hand draws out your ability to perform and be who you were destined to be. I've have made a decision that I intend to live by for the rest of my life, that if crawling is what it takes for me to reach my destiny, then I will do just that. One thing I won't do is give up. That's what being positive mean to me.

Would like to start by saying that I threw my books away in 1983 and dropped out of school end of std 8. I wanted to be like my dad and own my own fish & chip shop. Well I did buy his shop when he past on, now I have three, and in the process of getting a small distribution centre, when I get the finance or whereto supply my shops. I have also registered my cc property “FRAPI”=Ferreira Rentals and Property Investments.   The only book I read was Read more...

Wealth Insight 2009-12-18 We think about money so much. But what do we think about?   How much we have. How much we need. How much we want.   We only see it from that point of view.   And I would say, this is not enough. Considering how much of our time it takes up, we should know it better.   Why? Because it isn’t just there. Like a mountain. Or the sea. People made it. People manage it. It’s not perfect. It’s not neutral. It’s not like a force of... Read more...
