Home Reflections Routine is like a comfortable pair of slippers, but I am stepping out to explore my options with a new pair of shoes.

Routine is like a comfortable pair of slippers, but I am stepping out to explore my options with a new pair of shoes.

Like my old slippers, life can get monotonous when I only stick to my normal routines. I welcome change in my life, even if it means it is a bit uncomfortable at first. I am excited to enjoy new opportunities to experience life.

Stepping outside my comfort zone lets me expand my horizons. I can learn new things, develop new skills, and discover new talents and passions I never knew I had. It brings me new joys that do not exist in my normal routine.

Leaving my comfort zone behind makes life more exciting and gives me a chance to see what I can do. I am confident of success in my brave new world.

As I explore my expanded world, I learn and grow. Overcoming each new challenge strengthens my confidence that I can conquer other obstacles with ease. I know that, soon enough, the world outside my comfort zone will also become comfortable, too.

All it takes is a little getting used to!

Like with my new pair of shoes, I can bring brilliance and shine into my life by stepping out of my routines and allowing new experiences in.

Today, I plan to seek out opportunities to leave my normal routine behind and embrace new experiences that can bring me more - more excitement, new passions, and greater success!

Self-Reflection Questions:

1.    Am I stuck in my routines because I'm just too comfortable there?
2.    How can I step out of my comfort zone with a new, exciting activity?
3.    What do I need to do to free myself from my comfort zone?

Wealth Insight 2009-12-18 We think about money so much. But what do we think about?   How much we have. How much we need. How much we want.   We only see it from that point of view.   And I would say, this is not enough. Considering how much of our time it takes up, we should know it better.   Why? Because it isn’t just there. Like a mountain. Or the sea. People made it. People manage it. It’s not perfect. It’s not neutral. It’s not like a force of... Read more...

I approached the Kaizen Challenge at first very skeptically mainly due to the fact that I have already started reading self improvement books and though I know it all already. I had some successes but mainly failures (and mostly in terms of money). I never realized why as I thought as I exhibiting the right behaviors and Read more...

I was desperate for change in my life for the renewed feeling that I experienced as a child, the feeling that I can do anything, and the lust of achieving big things. This is actually the truth but with growing up and not knowing all the universal truths and wisdoms, Read more...

Today, I stand at the end of my 49 days of the Kaizen Challenge and in a way I am sad as this has become the pivot around which I created my daily routine and business tasks. This is the first time ever in my life that I have stuck to a plan for 49 days! I used to get started on a specific plan all motivated & excited, only to loose Read more...
